Grenta’s Dyon Rosser voted Army Iron Man of the Year for Virginia

Army Iron Man honor the best two-way high school football players

 

BECKLEY, WV – The U.S. Army Beckley Recruiting Battalion is proud to announce that Grenta’s Dyon Rosser is the 4th Annual Army Iron Man of the Year for Virginia.  The Army Iron Man honors the best two-way high school football players in the state.  Rosser had 1,897 yards of total offense with 18 touchdowns, throwing for 1,322 yards with 14 scores while rushing for 575 yards with four scores.  On defense, Rosser had 57 tackles with three interceptions, six passes defended, three fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. 

 

Fans from across the state voted online and selected Rosser as the Army Iron Man of the Year from among ten finalists, including:

This is the 4th Army Iron Man of the Year campaign for Virginia.  Amherst County’s Devonte Brown (2010); Monacan’s Logan Staib (2009); and Hidden Valley’s Chad Earhart (2008) are the previous winner of the Army Iron Man of the Year for Virginia.
