STRONG Wrestler of the Year for
Virginia
.
Runzo gave up just three points in four matches in winning the 125-pound
weight class at the Class AAA State Tournament, winning the title with a pin of
Salem
’s Buddy Scarborough in
4:58
.
More than 25,000 fans voted during the campaign and select Runzo as the
first-ever Army STRONG Wrestler of the Year for Virignia.
Each
week, wrestling competitors must demonstrate physical and emotional strength, as
well as strength of character. The
Army STRONG Wrestler of the Year embodies the qualities of Army STRONG.
