GHK “No Spit” All-Star of the Year
FRANKFORT,
KY – “The
Sports Flash” (TSF) Radio Network and the Get Healthy Kentucky (GHK) are proud
to announce that Lincoln County’s Brandon Weir has been voted the Get Healthy
Kentucky “No Spit” All-Star of the Year for 2008.
During the ten week campaign, more than 8,400 fans voted for the GHK
“No Spit” All-Star campaign. Weir
tallied more than, 2,660 votes for the GHK “No Spit” All-Star of the Year.
Weir hit
.432 this season with two triples, four doubles, three home runs, 19 runs batted
in, and 10 stolen bases. On the
mound, Weir was 3-3 with a 3.34 earned run average and 72 strike outs.
