Heritage’s Cody Thomas voted U.S. Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Dallas

Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Week campaign honors the state’s best football players

 

DALLAS, TEXAS  – The Marine Corps Recruiting Station Dallas is proud to announce that Heritage’s Cody Thomas has been voted the U.S. Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Dallas.  Thomas threw for 4,221 yards with 46 touchdowns with just seven interceptions in 424 pass attempts for a passer rating of 126.  Thomas added three rushing touchdowns and averaged 35.8 yards per punt on 17 punts with a season-long of 59 yards.  For two weeks, fans from across the state voted online at www.TheSportsFlash.com to select Thomas.
