Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Ohio

Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Week campaign honors the state’s best football players

 

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The United States Marine Corps is proud to announce that Aurora’s Anthony Melchiori has been voted the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Ohio.  Fans from across the state voted for the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year.  Melchiori was a finalist for the honor after winning the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Week for week three of the season after totaling 256 yards of total offense with three touchdowns and booting a 22-yard field-goal with seven extra-points in a 52-21 win over Revere. 

 

The Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year honored the best high school football players in the state.  Throughout the season, high school football fans from across the state selected the finalists for the honor.
