Davenport’s  Mike Miller voted 2011 Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Dallas

Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Week campaign honors the state’s best football players

 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Marine Corps Recruiting Station Oklahoma City is proud to announce that Davenport’s Mike Miller has been voted the Marine Corps Elite Warrior of the Year for Oklahoma.  Miller had 2,695 all-purpose yards with 33 touchdowns this season, rushing for 1,960 yards with 27 touchdowns with 473 receiving yards and six scores.  On defense, Miller recorded 62 tackles with eight interceptions and 11 passes defended.  Fans from across the state selected Miller for among ten finalists for the honor.
