Hilton Head Christian Academy’s Alex Martin voted           Army Iron Man of the Year

Army Iron Man honors the best two-way high school football players in South Carolina

 

JACKSONVILLE, FL  -  The U.S. Army Jacksonville (FL) Recruiting Battalion is proud to announce that Hilton Head Christian Academy’s Alex Martin is the Army Iron Man of the Year for South Carolina’s Low Country.  Fans from across the state voted and selected Martin (4,225 votes) over Whale Branch’s Josh Fields (3,332), and Fort Dorchester’s Devron Green (2,458) for the honor.  Martin had 44 receptions for 808 yards with 15 touchdowns this season while making an interception on defense with eight passes defended in helping Hilton Head Christian Academy to the SCISAA Class 2-A championship.
