Elkins’ Clayton Collett voted Army Iron Man of the Year for West Virginia Army Iron Man honors the best two-way high school football players
BECKLEY, WV – The U.S. Army Beckley Recruiting Battalion is proud to announce that Elkins’ Clayton Collett has been selected by the fans as the 6th Annual Army Iron Man of the Year, honoring West Virginia’s best two-way high school football players. Collett rushed for 1,264 yards with 16 touchdowns while making 15 receptions for 254 yards with four scores. On defense, Collett recorded 42 tackles with two sacks, two interceptions; three passes defended, and recovered two fumbles. Fans selected Collett from among ten finalists for the honor, including:
